Google Ads suspension appeal process.
No guesswork.

Reinstatement is not a single appeal. It is a sequence: diagnose the real trigger, fix it, then file an evidence based appeal written for your exact violation.

We fix the problem before we file the appeal. An appeal without a fix is just noise, and Google remembers the noise.

The sequence
Intake & Triage01
Forensic Audit02

Submission & Follow-up05

Each stage gates the next. We do not appeal until the problem is fixed and documented.

The reinstatement process

01

Intake & Triage

Day 0 to 1

You complete a brief intake form covering the suspension type, date, violation notice text, industry, monthly ad spend, and number of previous appeals submitted. We assess the case for viability before accepting the engagement. Accounts that have already submitted many failed appeals, or accounts suspended for genuinely egregious violations, are declined or offered only the diagnostic audit. This protects you from paying for a service with low odds of success.

Do this
  • Complete the intake form honestly and completely
  • Share the exact text of the suspension notice
  • Disclose all previous appeals submitted
  • Grant read-only account access
Not this
  • Do not submit any more appeals before we audit
  • Do not create a new account
  • Do not dispute any charges with your bank
02

Forensic Audit

Day 1 to 3

With read-only access to your Google Ads account, we conduct a systematic audit of every element that could have triggered the suspension. This includes the account's full change history, all ad copy and landing page URLs, billing profile consistency, URL tracking parameters, sitelinks and ad extensions, and any associated accounts linked to the same domain, payment method, or business identity. We also run security scans on the website to check for malware, broken links, and redirect chains.

Do this
  • Provide read-only account access
  • Share any recent website changes or migrations
  • List all email addresses associated with Google accounts
  • Provide access to Google Search Console if available
Not this
  • Do not make any changes to the account during audit
  • Do not delete any campaigns or ads
03

Remediation

Day 3 to 7

Before writing a single word of the appeal, we fix every identified issue. This is the step that most self-appeals skip, and it is why they fail. Google's reviewers are not looking for a good explanation. They are looking for evidence that the problem has been resolved. We provide specific, actionable guidance on every required fix, and document all changes with before and after screenshots for inclusion in the appeal.

Do this
  • Implement all recommended fixes promptly
  • Document every change with screenshots
  • Run a final security scan after fixes
  • Confirm all URLs and redirects are clean
Not this
  • Do not appeal before all fixes are confirmed
  • Do not make additional changes not in the remediation plan
04

Appeal Writing

Day 7 to 10

We write a professional, evidence based appeal tailored to your specific suspension type. This is not a template. The appeal acknowledges the policy violation cited, describes the investigation conducted, details the specific corrective actions taken with dates, and provides supporting documentation. For Unacceptable Business Practices cases, we compile business registration documents, tax IDs, partnership agreements, and any other evidence that demonstrates legitimate business operations. The appeal is reviewed internally before submission.

Do this
  • Provide all requested business documentation
  • Review the draft appeal before submission
  • Confirm all factual details are accurate
Not this
  • Do not add emotional language or blame Google
  • Do not submit anything without our review
05

Submission & Follow-up

Day 10 onward

We submit the appeal through the official Google Ads appeal interface and monitor the response daily. If approved, we notify you immediately and deliver the post-reinstatement compliance brief. If denied, we analyse the response for new information, identify what was missed, make additional fixes, and re-appeal with new evidence. We handle up to three rounds of appeals and follow-up at no additional cost. If standard appeals are exhausted, we activate escalation strategies including Google Ads support calls and, for EU advertisers, Digital Services Act redress options.

Do this
  • Respond promptly to any Google verification requests
  • Keep the account in its current state during review
  • Notify us immediately of any Google communications
Not this
  • Do not submit additional appeals independently
  • Do not contact Google support separately during review
06

Reinstatement & Prevention

Post-reinstatement

Account restored. We deliver a post-reinstatement compliance brief documenting exactly what was fixed and what to avoid going forward. We also offer an introduction to our SentinelGuard retainer for ongoing compliance management. The brief covers what triggered the suspension, what was fixed, ongoing compliance requirements, and a monitoring checklist for the first weeks after reinstatement. Reinstated accounts are at elevated risk of re-suspension if the underlying compliance gaps are not maintained.

Do this
  • Read and implement the compliance brief
  • Set up regular account monitoring
  • Consider the SentinelGuard retainer for ongoing protection
  • Review landing pages before any new campaign launches
Not this
  • Do not immediately revert to pre-suspension practices
  • Do not ignore policy warnings, address them immediately

Common questions

01

Reinstatement timelines depend on the violation type.

Billing and payment suspensions often resolve fastest, in a matter of days. Circumventing Systems, Unacceptable Business Practices, and Misrepresentation cases take longer because they require remediation and supporting documentation before the appeal is credible. Google controls the review timeline. We expedite everything within our control and keep you informed at each stage.

02

What we need from you is access and honesty.

Read-only account access, the exact text of the suspension notice, a complete history of any previous appeals, and any relevant business documentation. The single most damaging thing a client can do is withhold a previous appeal or a known issue. We can only fix what we can see.

03

If the appeal is denied, we do not stop.

A denial is information. We analyse the response, identify what was missed, make additional fixes, and re-appeal with new evidence. Our reinstatement services include up to three rounds of appeals and follow-up at no additional cost. If standard appeals are exhausted we move to escalation routes.

04

We fix the problem before we file the appeal.

Google's reviewers are not grading your explanation. They are checking whether the underlying violation still exists. An appeal submitted before the issue is resolved is just noise, and repeated noise trains the system to auto-reject you. Remediation first is the reason our appeals are credible.

05

What happens if you cannot reinstate my account?

Eligible Google Ads policy, billing, and Merchant Center reinstatement services carry a 100% money-back guarantee. You pay upfront, and if we do not reinstate the eligible account within 60 days you get a full refund, subject to our terms. This is also why we triage viability before accepting a case. LSA, Google Business Profile, and Microsoft Advertising are fixed-fee services outside that guarantee.
